Here at Canna farm we offer camping in a relaxed and tranquil environment in the heart of Cornwall. Situated within a unique fusion of natural and historic landscape, we are well placed to explore on foot, by bike or car. With a great many exciting places within reach, there really is something for everyone.
We are a small, family run business with only 12 pitches over two fields. The rest is left free for roaming, relaxing or playing! We are striving to have as low an environmental impact as possible. Camping by its nature seems to create a large amount of rubbish, so we offer a comprehensive recycling area to minimise refuse sent to landfill. Our facilities are also built with the environment in mind. The loos are composting and turn waste into nutrients, our (hot) showers run on harvested rainwater with top ups from our spring and hot water for the handwash is provided by the sun (and the rain!) The fields are separated by rustic, traditional walls and hedgerows with flower meadows and long grass to attract wildlife and create beauty! We also like to support local businesses by stocking Cornish produce and firewood. Individuals, couples, families and dogs are all welcome.
We are open from 15th June – 19th September.
COVID 19 :
We will be open from 15th June! However, we are taking things seriously for the welfare of our visitors. Things will be done a little differently, but this doesn’t mean it should impede on your holiday, relaxation and general good time! We do, however, need everyone to play their part and be vigilant. Toilets, showers and washing up facilities will be open. Obviously, on our part, the cleaning will be increased, but everyone will need to read signs, wash hands regularly and be thoughtful of those that will next use any shared facility. For cleaning purposes, the shower will be open from 8-10 every morning and 7-8 every evening. This condensed time will allow for us to disinfect between those using the shower each time. The toilets will be regularly cleaned, but sanitiser will be provided for everyone to use before and after for practicality. A separate hand washing station is also based near the toilets for all to use.
