Canna Farm Campsite, although beautifully peaceful and surrounded by rolling landscapes, is situated perfectly for all transport links. Canna lies only a couple of miles walk along the Clay Trails from Bugle where there are various amenities. A World Heritage site, Luxulyan Valley is only a few minutes drive. We are situated just off the A30 between St. Austell and Bodmin, making the rest of Cornwall easily accessible for further exploring. The Eden project is just a three mile walk on the Clay Trails from the camp. Nearby Charlestown offers history with its Heritage Museum and Tall ships in Port. Carlyon Bay, Porthpean and Polkerris Beach all have beautiful sandy beaches to walk or relax on and look out to sea. There really are a vast array of places of interest within easy reach!

The Luxulyan Valley, about 4 miles from site, is the steep sided and thickly wooded valley of the River Par, situated in mid Cornwall, England, UK. It contains a major concentration of early 19th century industrial remains, and was designated as part of a World Heritage Site in 2006. A truly magical place to explore with enormous boulders, rivers and amazing industrial ruins hidden within the beautiful scenery.

Charlestown

Charlestown, 5 miles away, is a village and port on the south coast of Cornwall, and in the civil parish of St Austell Bay. It is situated approximately 2 miles south east of St Austell town centre. The port at Charlestown developed in the late-18th century from the fishing village of West Polmear. The Shipwreck Heritage centre is based here to visit, along with several tall ships usually to be seen in port. Perhaps a glimpse of Poldark? Cafe’s, bars and a cheeky ice cream are all available here.
